Hi Maverick,
Take a look at the post in my tutorials section, that just got bumped by Frank, for a general background view. Otherwise send me a few files that you're having problems with, too low and too high, and I'll take a look and try to advise you on what the problem is. You can find my e-mail address under my profile.
I don't have Logic so I can't advise on how to edit the files, but at least I may be able to point you in the right direction.
Regards, JohnG.

Hi Maverick,
Yes, I got your files thanks and took a quick 'gander' at them yesterday. The first thing that struck me was that the note velocity levels were all over the place in the first two songs I looked at. With ones as low as 30 (very quiet (pp)) followed by notes at 127 (LOUD (fff)) on the same channel!
I hope to find some time over the next few days to look at the rest and put some thoughts together as to how to modify them.
I'll get back to you as soon as I can but I have a visitor staying this weekend so not much time.
Best ... JohnG.
