Just bobbed back in to say that even more sadly, I found her this morning semi conscious behind the bedroom door, and had to call an ambulance - she has not been eating properly or taking her insulin injections for a couple of weeks. They have now 'sectioned' her, under the Mental Health Act, as in the past she has refused help or treatment from Ambulance staff (I have had to call them out several times), and again from our GP yesterday, who wanted to admit her for observation, and psychiatric assessment.
I am - believe it or not, relieved - as the nightmare of the past few months is now perhaps over, and she will get the care and attention she so badly needed, but refused.
I am fine, so don't worry about me, but it is so sad to see a highly inteligent and talented musician go down this slippery slope. Who knows what is in the future? I certainly don't at the moment, but hope in the coming weeks, all will be revealed.
