Thanks Frankie - I got an "anonymous email" that I assume was from you, linking to the CWPA Users Guide.
JohnG, I did not get the MIDI file to send through Cake. I was just trying different things until I could get to the store to pick up my new MIDI interface [$50 Roland USB to MIDI].
I did install new drivers, but it seems there are no "MIDI OUT" drivers for Windows XP to work with CWPA 9 - everything else works, all the inputs, just no output.
I am loading a new soundbank into my Ewi {love my Ewi!! - you guys know about them?}

Perhaps you are missing a critical file within XP itself. How did you get your version of CWPA 9? Guess it's possible a file or two is missing from the main install as well,but I don't think so because it probably wouldn't have went through with the full installation,and gave you an error message about missing driver dll files.
